Additional equipment for refrigeration units from PRIMEHOLOD

Additional equipment includes liquid separators, grease separators, buffer tanks, receivers, linear pumps, isolation valves. They provide operational stability and security for refrigeration units.

Liquid separators are aimed at catching the liquid drops contained by the coolant liquid-vapour mixture going from evaporators. At that they secure a compressor from dangerous operation mode when liquid gets into a cylinder together with coolant vapour. They provide dry compression, making the refrigerator’s operation maximally closed to the estimated expected performance

The liquid drops depose in these devices due to the rapid velocity decrease and changing the direction of liquid-vapour mixture move by 90°, 180°.

Liquid separators are installed on panel evaporators and in some fruit storage cooling systems. If there is a cooling system with coolant force circulation the liquid deposes in a circulation receiver.

Grease separators are used for the separation of oil taken by coolant from the compressor. The oil parts are taken by coolant both in drops and in vapour. The decrease of oil film leads to increase of heat exchanger’s efficiency.

Linear receivers are used to compensate the difference in liquid filling of evaporation equipment during the changes in heat loads. They free the condenser from liquid and create an even flow of liquid coolant to the control valve. Linear receiver is installed between condenser and control valve. Constantly supported level of liquid coolant forms hydraulic waterseal that prevents high-pressure steam from flowing to the evaporator. Linear receiver is a good air and oil collector.

Circulation receiver with pumps is used for providing the coolants circulation in refrigerating system. Circulation receivers (the tanks working under pressure) are produced according to the customer’s technical inquiry. PRIMEHOLOD can perform all required calculations according to the customer’s input parameters and install the required circulation receiver with additional options. This equipment is used in refrigerating units working on ammonia, CO2, R22, R404A, R507, R134a and other Freon gases.
