Applying refrigeration in pharmaceutics

Medical freezers that store donated blood operate in other temperatures: from -15°C to -85°C.
Medical freezers can provide high-speed freezing of blood, its components and plasma. Quick freezing units are used for such needs.

Some laboratories require cryopreservation for storing bone marrow, blood, viruses, and reproductive materials. This process can be performed only in ultra low temperature freezers with operating temperatures in the range from -85°С to – 152°С.

Some models of medical refrigerators have both cooling and freezing chambers, similar to household refrigerators. However, they have different construction. Household refrigerator supports an average temperature with variations in different sections up to 10°С.

Thanks to correctly performed mounting centrals provide noise-free operation. That is why they provide comfortable working without distraction. It also prevents air heating in rooms where refrigerator centrals are used.

Modern chillers are widely popular nowadays. They are used in:

-conditioning systems. Their main purpose in this direction is lowering the coolant temperature: after being cooled it flows to fancoils;
-in engineering industry: they are used in plastic, printed publications, packing sheets manufacture;
-in pharmaceutical and medical areas for cooling medical equipment and preparations;
-for cooling MRI apparatuses and additional equipment (magnetic resonance imaging).

Supporting the required temperature is highly important in pharmaceutical industry. It is provided by air cooling systems – chillers and fan coils. Fan coil is a heat-exchange unit with a ventilator that extracts cold or heat from the heat transfer agent and spreads it along the room. They are used for creating a comfortable microclimate in buildings of any size. Depending on your needs and room dimensions they may have different configurations. One chiller can serve a few fan coils, while each fan coil can work autonomously or be switched off. The major role of this system is not only to cool, but also to regulate the air temperature in the building at any time of the year. This helps to solve the problem of ventilation inside buildings and create the optimal balance of air humidity and temperature. Chillers have proven their high reliability, efficiency and safety in operation, as well as simple maintenance.
